Ecuador is a hidden gem in the world of coffee. Known for its incredible biodiversity and rich ecological diversity. The country is home to an astounding number of plant and animal species, many of which are found nowhere else in the world. This is due in part to Ecuador's unique location at the intersection of the Andes Mountains, the Amazon rainforest, and the Pacific Ocean.

Ecuador's diverse ecosystems are reflected in its coffee and with significant coffee genetic diversity (Sidra, Typica Mejorado, etc), Ecuador has the potential to produce exceptionally unique and complex cup profiles. Despite this potential, the country has seen limited investment in post-harvest processing and infrastructure.
